Alright kitty fans, the Woodland Park Zoo has some brand new arrivals for you! These snow leopard cubs, born just three weeks ago, each weigh around four pounds and are doing great.

    So glad to “meet” these two. They are the grandcubs of LA Zoo’s couple through their son Tom. 🙂 Very cute! Hope to really “meet” them one day.

    The picture (updating about every 10 sec?) is not of very high quality, I’m afraid, but it is so nice to know, that they really are there right now with there mom feeling well. (Usually they sleep or drink milk…)

    Years ago, in the 70s, the zoo had a snow leopard. I think it was kept toward to southern most exit near the dam. My father, who was a zoo official at the time, struck up a friendship with the cat. Does anyone remember the cats name?
