Carmen, lion cubs grow up to be LIONS. How would you take care of one?
Get a kitten. Similar behaviors, and you can have one in your apartment. -
The 3 bottom pictures really should be turned into postcards, they are amazing photos. The middle one is just adorable, it melts your heart.

Carmen – and anyone else who wishes to possess a lion cub: see the film Born Free first.

No one without expertise in large cat behavior should have a lion. They are not pets, they are wild animals. They make awful pets. I’m an Animal Behavior major and large cats are just not made for domestication. They eat well over 15lbs of meat a day. They need extensive amounts of land to roam. It should be illegal to house or have any large cat without the proper perameters of a rescue, reserve, zoo, or conservation station. I plan on devoting the rest of my life to large cat conservation, but despite my passion for these animals, I would never want one as a pet. Ever. These pet “cubs” grow up to be abandoned, murdered, and abused. It’s awful and should never be supported.
