The Newest, Cutest Baby Animals from the World's Zoos & Aquariums
Today we visit the children's zoo at Switzerland's Zoo Basel to see their new pygmy goats kids born in March. This domestic goat originated in Cameroon and made their way to Europe and the US in the 1950s, where they gained popularity as pets for their friendliness, playfulness and small manageable size.

They might not be as ecologically significant as yesterday’s baby snails, but they sure are cuter!! They come is such adorable patterns! I hope the last one is named “Spot.”

I visited a farm with pygmy goats once. While I was kneeling down for something, one of them jumped onto my back. Goaties are funny little critters.

We had pygmy goats when I was a child. They are about the most adorable critters ever. Also nearly impossible to keep in fences.
