On April 25th, Germany's Allwetter Zoo in Munster welcomed a Mongolian horse foal weighing 35 kg (77 lbs). Small and stocky, Mongolian horses have remained largely unchanged genetically since the time of Ghengis Kahn. They also have the largest genetic diversity among all horse breeds, suggesting that humans have not guided their breeding habits nearly as closely as other horses.

All legs and knobbly knees. Welcome to the world.

Just to clarify – it appears that this is not a Mongolian Horse. Mongolian Horse is another name for Przewalski’s Horse, which is actually a subspecies of wild horse.
If you translate the original web page, it is a Mongolian Pony. Mongolian Ponies are native to Mongolia and are believed to be descended from Przewalski’s Horses. -
And judging from that hair, they’re totally the emo kids of the horse world.

Great looking critters.

Mongolian horses are NOT ponies. They are semi domesticated HORSES. The Przs are a WILD horse that went extinct in the wild but was preserved in zoos and reintroduced to the wild. Do a search and get your opinions tuned away and learn facts.
