The Newest, Cutest Baby Animals from the World's Zoos & Aquariums

Posted in

Yesterday, zoo visitor Ulli J. snapped these pictures of a mother Arctic Wolf, also known as a Polar Wolf tending to her young. The Monde Sauvage Safari Park in Belgium is home to these North American natives. In the wild, Polar Wolf mothers leave the pack when they are pregnant to seek safe refuge for their cubs. It is not uncommon for her siblings to help care for these young while she finds food outside the den.

Yes, these pics are cute. But the reality NOW is different. These young wolves are kept in a small cage every day and are only allowed out of the cage for 1 hour when they have to do their show. If they don’t perform well, they get no food. This information was shared by a former employee who kept silent for months out of fear. But the love for animals and these wolves in particular helped break the silence. I think that these wolfs are so cute. I am a big fan of wolf of all kinds. Why is it so hard to find info about Arctic wolfs?

Its not right to keep animals in cages & not give them food just because they dont do good on there show! >:(
