The Newest, Cutest Baby Animals from the World's Zoos & Aquariums

Little Kiburi, the San Diego Zoo’s newest and devastatingly cutest little Cheetah cub made his video debut today. Typically we would just add this to the previous post about this little tyke, but it’s special enough to stand on its own.

    Why do cheetahs (alone among cats, as far as I can tell) have these two big black stripes that run down along each side of the nose to the mouth? It’s very distinctive.
    Any time I am not sure if I am looking a a panther, a puma, a leopard, or a cheetah, I know cheetahs will have those stripes.
