Nashville Zoo's troublemsome trio of Clouded Leopard Kittens is just over a month old. The three are beginning to fully open their eyes and are much more active than they were just four weeks ago. Clouded Leopards are vulnerable to extinction due to habitat loss. Nashville Zoo participates in the Thailand Clouded Leopard Consortium, which leads a multi-faceted conservation program that includes a viable self-sustaining breeding program.

(if they’re just over a month old, I should HOPE they are “much more active than they were just four weeks ago”!)

yeah, not the best write-up… that grammatical error in the first line is painful.
But OMG clouded leopard cubs!! If they go on public display I’m going to attempt to get down there again.

Aww! I love the one that’s trying to eat the table :p

He’s not trying to eat the table, or lick the it…he is looking for a nice warm nipple filled with sweet warm milk! Poor little hungry babies!

Well I know he’s not trying to eat the table. It just looked like that. He probably smelled something on it or something like that. It was just cute.

    Yes they’re really cute but…
Why in God’s name aren’t these animals being raised and fed by their real mothers in an outdoor enclosure? Sure they’re cute and everyone wants to hold them, even animal specialists… but really, what is better for them?
Also, the two adults on display really need a larger enclosure.. a place where they can run full-out for a moment if they wanted to..
    Thanks.
