The Newest, Cutest Baby Animals from the World's Zoos & Aquariums
Prospect Park Zoo's Golden Lion Tamarin may be small, but the baby monkey is already giving great big grins. The 2-month-old tamarin is also getting brave, going further out on branches away from its first-time parents, Pablo and Teodora.

What a beautiful color!
I love the family portraits of these guys. They remind me of the portraits you get at Sears where everyone has a faraway look in their eyes and the backround is a soothing blue.

These are such beautiful creatures. Alas the only one I’ve seen up close was in a lab freezer. Ick.
The first photo looks so friendly. Like an orange Elmo.
It’s usually Dad who carries the babies– lets Mom save her energy for producing the milk. Or, as I would tell zoo visitors, “She carried them long enough.”
These creatures are so beautiful…i love the color of their furs……these are looking so much elegant!
So sweet, so beautiful! Hard to believe they are primates, the same animal family as us humans; we don’t deserve them.
Maybe we could swear off war and torture and violence for a generation or two, and then ask the tamarinds to take us back. . . I wonder if they’d accept us.

I usually do not like monkeys, but this tamarin is adorable! Save the planet!
