Chattanooga Zoo's female Snow Leopard Kasimir gave birth to two cubs on October 2 and zookeepers have shared a few sneak peak pics. The tiny Snow Leopards, a boy and a girl, will go on exhibit Saturday, November 19. Stay tuned for more news and pictures in the coming weeks!

October? That’s very unusual for snow leopards. Most cats can breed throughout the year, but snow leopards have a clearly defined birth peak in May/June.
Snow leopards are beautiful. Last year I had an opportunity to pet a snow leopard cub and even to hold her amazing tail for a while. What a pity humans don’t have tails. 😉 -
I’ve never seen snow leopards up close. Busch Gardens does have a white tiger, if I remember correctly. They sure are awesome cats to look at.
