Oregon Zoo's lions cubs are growing up strong. The three females are now one month old, healthy and playful. The littlest cub, who had some health issues and received some supplemental bottle-feeding, is still the smallest of the trio, but she is doing much better.

See our original story about the cubs here.

Update in June of 2019: The names chosen were Kamali, Zalika, and Angalia. A few days ago I finally learned that Kamali and Zalika were transferred to the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago in April of 2015. (To my knowledge, the Oregon Zoo never even announced that bit of news.) Very recently, Kamali, Zalika, and Sahar (the male lion at the Lincoln Park Zoo) moved to Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina, Kansas because the Kovler Lion House at Lincoln Park Zoo will soon be renovated.
