Captain Cal update: this bright and feisty orphaned mountain lion rescued from the #ZoggFire still has a long road to recovery. Daily, Oakland Zoo Vet Hospital staff changes the bandages on his feet. He also has some damage, likely fire-related, to his skin, and some parasites. Oakland Zoo is addressing every medical issue, giving him pain medication, antibiotics, iron supplements, deworming medication, and vitamins. Captain Cal remains bright and active, and has a great appetite.
