January 2024. First images of the newborn chimpanzee in the equatorial jungle of BIOPARC Valencia. The process is progressing very positively, and the upbringing is proceeding normally. The pleasant temperatures allow the newborn to be observed in the outdoor area, visible to visitors. The Valencia park houses the largest group in Spain of the endangered subspecies Pan troglodytes verus and plays a crucial role in the European conservation program. Additionally, the BIOPARC Foundation collaborates with the Jane Goodall Institute in the preservation of this species in Africa. More information: http://www.bioparcvalencia.es
